Distill America XVI will be presented at Breese Stevens Field in Madison, Wisconsin on May 18th, 2024. There are 4 different types of tickets that are available for purchase. Each ticket will get you a complimentary Glen Cairn glass from our sponsor Bulleit Bourbon, food throughout the afternoon, and the opportunity to sample products from over 80 different vendors across the United States. The venue is outdoors, socially distanced, and under tents to ensure that everyone will have a great time, rain or shine!
Distill America at Home
Hello everyone! As you know it’s the time of year we would usually be hitting you up to buy tickets for Distill America. Heck, most of you would already have them and you’d be anticipating all the fun we would all have tasting and learning together. You also know that it has been a year of great challenges for any kind of event. So we have been trying for months to figure out what we are going to do. Unfortunately, holding our regular event simply is not feasible, but we’re not the kind of guys who will just give up and cancel the event outright. So after much discussion what we have come up with is an event that we feel offers you our friends, a couple of different options, allowing us to have a safe and enjoyable time. So....Distill America XIII will revolve around online seminars with distillers, similar to what we have done with the educational seminar section of the usual Distill America. Our plan is to offer 8 different seminars with a variety of spirits and you will have two different ways to participate. You can participate from the comfort of your own home, for a small fee (for charity of course) we will provide you with a link that will give you access to all 8 seminars. You can attend as many or as few as you like. You can supply yourself with as many or as few of the spirits we’ll be tasting. Heck, you can drink chocolate milk and still have a great time and learn a lot. The second option will be to attend an event at a participating venue. We are working with several fantastic venues around the area (and we are open to anyone interested in being a venue) to offer the seminars along with flights of spirits. All within the safety guidelines said venues are required to follow. Imagine having access to some of the best minds in the spirits game, sipping their wares, all while helping out people in an industry that has been particularly hard hit by these trying times.
Money raised will go to benefit members of the bar and restaurant industry adversely affected by current events.
